Running the book
Day-to-day trading happens on Management → Sportsbook Management → Matches. Every action asks for a reason and is written to the Audit Log with your name.
The daily checklist
Work down the lists at the top of the Matches tab. A list that is empty is not shown.
| List | What is on it | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting for a person to settle | Matches the book could not settle by itself, each with the reason and its open bets. Matches with bets come first; those with none are dimmed at the end | Settle each outcome with Settle as…, or void the match. Start with the ones that have open bets |
| Result changes waiting for a decision | Corrections the book would not apply by itself (late, a status change, a score that went down) | Apply or Reject, with a reason |
| Bets to review | Bets flagged as placed after the result was known, or settled under a changed rule | Dismiss the flag with a reason, or void the bet |
| Possible duplicates | Two listings that may be the same match | Same match merges them; Not the same keeps both |
Bets on a waiting match stay open
Nothing happens to the bets on a match in Waiting for a person to settle until you act. Clear that list at least once a day.
Finding a match
Search by team or league. With the box empty, the search lists every match that is suspended. Opening a match shows its markets and outcomes, and what is held on it.
Suspending and releasing
A suspension holds a whole match or one market closed, whatever the feed says, until you release it. It survives the feed's updates and restarts. Use it when you know something the feed does not — a red card it has missed, a line you want to check.
Settling by hand
Settle as… on an outcome settles it as won, lost, void, half won or half lost, with a dead-heat share where several tied. Open bets on it settle at once. Bets already settled on that outcome are settled again, the first payout taken back and the new one paid.
Your settlement takes precedence: an automatic result arriving later does not overwrite it.
Voiding a match
Void the match voids every outcome of a match and returns the stakes; in combos the leg counts as 1.00. It works for matches no longer listed too — the book finds them through their bets.
Void bets placed in a window
For a price offered in error. Choose the outcome, the start and end of the window, and a reason. Every bet on that outcome placed inside the window has the leg voided:
- an open bet carries on with that leg at 1.00;
- a settled bet is settled again;
- cashed-out bets, and bets placed outside the window, are not changed.
Odds boosts
Odds boosts offers one selection above its market price. Set the boosted price, a maximum stake per bet, and how long it runs (empty: until you end it).
- Players see it in a rail under the banner, in every layout.
- It is taken as a single only, at exactly the boosted price.
- Ending a boost early stops new bets; bets already placed stand.
- It settles, and counts toward liability, at the boosted price.
Pre-made tickets
Pre-made tickets are ready-made combos on the sportsbook's home page and under My bets → Pre-made tickets: a title, an optional short tag ("Most popular") and two to ten picks, one a match. A player adds the whole ticket to the slip in one tap and places it as an accumulator; its odds are its picks' current odds multiplied.
They are set per operator in the trader console (trader.pixupplay.tech → Operator → Pre-made tickets). Operators connected over the API can set the same tickets with PUT /tickets and read them with GET /tickets.
Your tickets. Make a ticket by giving it a title, an optional tag and its picks. Up to twelve can be saved. Players only ever see a ticket that can be bet as it stands:
- a pick on a match that is over, gone or hidden, or on a selection already settled, is dropped;
- a ticket left with fewer than two picks is not shown;
- a ticket with a pick closed for the moment (suspended, no price) is hidden until it reopens, so one tap always gives the whole ticket.
Automatic tickets. At the top of the page, Automatic tickets lets the sportsbook make tickets of its own from what is on offer, so the section is never empty:
| Setting | What players see |
|---|---|
| Off | Your tickets only. |
| Fill | Your tickets that can be taken now first, then automatic ones until there are four. |
| Only automatic | Up to four automatic tickets. Yours are kept, but not shown. |
The automatic tickets are:
| Ticket | Picks |
|---|---|
| Favourites of the day | Three match winners at about 1.25–1.65 |
| Goals galore | Over 2.5 goals in three football matches |
| Big odds | Four or five match winners, total odds about 8 to 20 |
| Tennis favourites | Three favourites in ATP, WTA or Grand Slam singles (basketball favourites when there is no tennis) |
| Both teams score | Both teams to score in three matches |
Their picks are pre-match only, start between 30 minutes and 48 hours ahead, are open and priced now, and come one a match from the big competitions you show: your featured matches first, then the top leagues. Sports and leagues you hide are never used. Tickets are made again every 10 minutes, and at once when a pick closes or its match is about to start; picks that still stand are kept, so a ticket does not change for no reason. Players see each title in their own language.
Below the setting, the page lists the automatic tickets players see right now, marked Automatic, so you can check what is on offer without opening the sportsbook.
Outrights
Management → Sportsbook Management → Outrights holds competition markets — a league's winner, its top scorer — which a trader makes, prices and settles. Their rules are in Settlement rules.
Making one. In New outright, choose the sport, give it a name (for example "Premier League 2026/27 – Winner"), optionally a league and country, and the time betting closes. Enter the selections one per line as Label, price, then Create outright.
Starting from a suggestion. Suggest from a league prices a league's winner or top scorer for you: find the league by a team or league name, choose Winner or Top scorer and press Suggest (it can take up to a minute). It fills the card, and says underneath how the prices were worked out:
- Winner: each side's strength is read from the prices of the league's next matches, or from its goals this season where it has none; the rest of the season is then played out many times from the table as it stands.
- Top scorer: each listed player's goals per 90 minutes, over the games their side has left. Players not on the source's list are not offered; add them, or an "Any other" selection, by hand.
A suggestion knows nothing of injuries, transfers or the fixture list beyond the next matches. Check every price before Create outright: nothing is offered until you press it.
While it is open:
- change any selection's price and Save prices;
- add a selection with Add a selection (
Label, price) and Add; - Withdraw a selection that drops out. Its bets stand and lose — all in, run or not.
Settling. Tick the winner, give a reason and press Settle. Every other selection loses. Tick several for a tie: the stake is divided between them and paid as a dead heat. Settled outrights move to Settled below, with their winners.
What players see. Each open outright is a card under the banner, beside the boosts, in every layout: its name, when betting closes and the three shortest prices, with Show all for the rest. A price picked there goes on the slip like any other. Once settled, the outright leaves the sportsbook. Operators connected over the API get the same list from GET /outrights.
Free bets
A free bet is a stake the operator gives a player: each has an amount, an expiry and, if wanted, minimum total odds. How they settle is in Settlement rules. Operators can also give them from their own systems over the API.
Giving one. On Management → Sportsbook Management → Free bets, fill in Give a free bet: the operator, the player id, the currency (the player's wallet currency), the amount, how many days it is valid (7 unless you change it), the minimum odds if any, and a reason. Then Give free bet. The reason goes to the Audit Log.
The list below shows every free bet given, filtered by operator and player id: its amount, minimum odds, status, when and by whom it was given and why, and when it expires. The status is available, used (with the bet it went on), cancelled, expired, or given back after the bet it went on was void.
Cancelling. An available free bet has Cancel. Give a reason and press Cancel free bet; Keep leaves it as it is. A used free bet cannot be cancelled.
What players see. A player with free bets finds them on the slip under Use a free bet. Picking one replaces the stake with the free bet's amount and shows the winnings without the stake. A free bet that cannot go on the slip as it stands is greyed out with the reason: another currency, a system bet, several singles, a boosted price, or odds below its minimum. Once used it leaves the list; in My bets the bet is marked as a free bet and has no cash out.
Margins
Management → Sportsbook Management → Margins sets how much the book keeps: a book default, then per sport, per margin profile (a group of leagues), per league, per market and per match, each overriding the one before it. A change reprices within about 30 seconds; bets already taken keep their price. Pricing and margins explains which margin wins, with an example.
The same tab sets the source priority: when two data sources follow a match, the higher one prices and settles it, and the next takes over if it goes quiet.
