Which methods a wallet sees

A player can hold wallets in more than one currency (see the Country currencies page in the admin). The cashier only offers the methods that can take the currency of the wallet the player is on. This page explains where that is decided and how to check it.

Where a method's currencies are set

All three places are under Payments → Payment Rules. For each method, the most specific setting wins:

OrderWhereExample
1Payment methods → open a method → its provider's own scope inside the methodAlphaPo: USD only in the AlphaPo (Crypto) method
2Payment methods → open a method → Where it can be used → CurrenciesThe whole method takes BRL only
3Providers → a provider's currenciesThe provider takes INR in every method it is in

If none of the three names a currency, the method is offered in every wallet, as before.

Set it where the restriction really is

If a provider is limited only inside one method, set it on that method (row 1 or 2). Set it on the provider (row 3) only when the provider takes the same currencies everywhere.

What the player sees

  • The deposit and withdrawal screens ask the platform for the methods of the wallet the player is on, and show only those.
  • Switching wallets inside the cashier updates the list straight away.
  • A wallet with no method left shows an empty state, not a list of methods that would fail. Add a method for that currency, or stop offering the currency in that market.
  • Changes in the admin reach players the next time they open the cashier. No app release is needed.

The platform also keeps a few fixed rules that no setting overrides: for example, local Indian rails credit INR wallets only, and PIX credits BRL wallets only.

Opening a currency in a market

On Country currencies, each row says which currencies players in a country may hold and which one they start on. When you save a row, the platform asks the payment rules whether every allowed currency has at least one deposit method in that country, using the same settings as above, and warns you about any currency that has none. A market should never open with an empty cashier.

AlphaPo in more than one wallet currency

AlphaPo can fund any of a player's wallets, not only the one in the brand's main currency.

  • Each player gets a separate deposit address per coin and per wallet currency. A deposit to that address is credited to the wallet it was made for, converted into that wallet's currency.
  • Addresses players already have keep working for the wallet they were made for.
  • Which wallets AlphaPo is offered in is set like any other method, above. It should match the currencies your AlphaPo account converts into.

Checking it

  1. Set the currency on the method.
  2. On the player site, open the deposit screen on each of the player's wallets and switch between them.
  3. For the exact answer, the platform's payment configuration for the player lists each method with its currencies; an empty list means every wallet.

What this page is based on

Written against the player backend and the payment rules engine as of 30 October 2026. Before this change only the provider-wide setting (row 3) was read; a currency set on the method had no effect on the cashier.
