Which games a player can see
Two things decide whether a game appears in a player's lobby: whether you have enabled it, and whether the game's supplier permits it in the country the player is sitting in.
The operator switch
Every game has an allowed/blocked toggle in the admin panel. Blocking a game removes it from the lobby for everyone, in every country. This is the control you use for commercial reasons — a provider dispute, a game you do not want promoted, a title being retired.
The supplier's country restrictions
Game suppliers tell us where their games may not be offered. Some restrictions sit on a single game, others on an entire studio, in which case every game from that studio carries them.
When a player opens the casino, games restricted in their country are removed from the list before it reaches them. The player does not see the tile, does not see a greyed-out game, and gets no message — from their side the game simply is not in the catalogue.
The country comes from the player's connection, the same signal used to stamp the location on their session. It is not the country on their account.
This is not something you configure
There is no country field to fill in on a game. The restrictions arrive from the supplier with the rest of the game data and refresh on their own. If a game is hidden in one country and not another, that is the supplier's list, not a setting anyone made here.
How much each supplier restricts
Suppliers differ in how they express this, and the difference is worth knowing when you are trying to work out why a game is missing.
| Supplier | What they restrict |
|---|---|
| St8 | Per game and per studio. Most titles carry nothing; a small number carry a country list |
| Mobule | Their whole catalogue, in the United States and China. No per-game data at all |
Mobule's is a blanket rule covering everything they ship, confirmed with them directly. A player connecting from the US or China sees no Mobule game at all; everywhere else sees the full catalogue.
What to expect in practice
Beyond Mobule's blanket rule, suppliers populate these lists sparsely. Most games arrive with no country restrictions at all, and those are shown everywhere. Only a small number of individual titles carry one today, so the per-game effect is limited — but it grows on its own as suppliers fill the data in, with nothing to do at this end.
A whole country is blocked when a region is listed
Some suppliers name a region rather than a country. Because a player's connection only tells us their country, a region on the list hides the game from the entire country it belongs to.
This is deliberate: showing a game we have been told is restricted somewhere is the worse mistake. It does mean a game can be missing from a country more broadly than the supplier strictly intended.
When a player says a game is missing
In order:
- Check the game is enabled in the admin panel. This is the usual answer.
- Check the provider is enabled. A game from a disabled studio never reaches the lobby, whatever its own setting says.
- Ask where the player is. If the game appears for you and not for them, and both of the above are fine, a supplier restriction on their country is the likely reason.
A game hidden by a country restriction is still fully visible in the admin panel. The filter applies to the player site only.
