Wagering and conversion
A deposit campaign can carry two entirely separate wagering requirements. They sit in different fields, are measured against different amounts, and are easy to confuse.
The two requirements
| To receive the bonus | To convert the bonus | |
|---|---|---|
| Question it answers | May the player have this bonus at all? | May bonus money become real money? |
| Measured on | The deposit, always | Whatever base you choose |
| Until it is met | The bonus is held and cannot be played | The bonus is playable, but winnings cannot be withdrawn |
| Set to zero | The bonus is usable immediately | There is no conversion requirement |
A campaign can use either, both or neither.
Choosing the base
The conversion requirement is a multiplier applied to a base, and the base is your choice:
Bonus amount — the multiplier applies to the bonus only. The most common setting, and what every campaign uses unless told otherwise.
Deposit amount — applies to what the player put in, ignoring the bonus.
Deposit + bonus — applies to both together. Standard for headline welcome offers, where "wager it once" is understood to mean the whole balance.
The same offer, three ways
A player deposits 8,000 and receives an 8,000 bonus, with a multiplier of 1:
| Base | Must wager |
|---|---|
| Bonus amount | 8,000 |
| Deposit amount | 8,000 |
| Deposit + bonus | 16,000 |
The same numbers on the form, twice the requirement. Choose deliberately.
When the bonus is capped
The base uses the amount actually granted, not the uncapped percentage. A 10,000 deposit on a 100% offer capped at 8,000, with a deposit + bonus base and a multiplier of 1, requires 18,000 — the 10,000 deposited plus the 8,000 granted.
How much can be converted
Max convertible amount caps how much may become real money. It is a different ceiling from the one on the campaign form above it, and the two are easy to confuse:
| Caps | Applied | |
|---|---|---|
| Max bonus amount | What the player is given | When the bonus is granted |
| Max convertible amount | What the player may keep | After the wagering is cleared |
A campaign can use both. A 100% offer capped at 8,000 that converts at most 2,000 gives the player 8,000 to play with, of which 2,000 can ever be withdrawn.
Max convertible type decides how that ceiling is worked out:
- A fixed amount
- The full bonus
- The remaining balance - whatever survived the wagering converts in full
- A percentage of a base you choose, the same three options as above
Both ceilings are optional. Leaving the max convertible amount empty means no ceiling: the campaign is saved as full bonus, and the player can convert up to the whole bonus. The form says so under the field.
Older campaigns may still convert nothing
This used to be a trap. The conversion takes the smaller of the remaining balance and the ceiling, so a fixed amount left at zero meant the player cleared the entire requirement and received nothing, with no error anywhere.
Campaigns built now cannot land in that state. Campaigns built before can, and they will not announce it — a player simply finishes their wagering and gets nothing. If an old campaign is set to a fixed amount, check the amount is actually there.
There is no minimum multiplier
The conversion multiplier used to refuse anything under 15. It does not any more — set whatever the campaign needs. The form warns below 15 and warns harder at zero, but it never blocks you.
Zero means no wagering at all
The requirement is the multiplier times the base, so zero is a requirement of nothing. The bonus completes on the player's first interaction and converts straight to real money.
Put that next to an empty max convertible amount — which now means "the full bonus" — and two blank fields hand out free money. It is allowed on purpose. Set it deliberately.
A low multiplier is not dangerous in the same way, only cheap: under about 15 on the bonus amount, a campaign is quick to clear, which is what bonus abuse looks for.
Timing
A held bonus does not activate the instant the last qualifying spin lands. The platform re-checks progress every ten minutes, so expect a short delay between a player finishing their wagering and the bonus becoming available.
