Tournaments

A tournament ranks players against each other over a fixed period and pays prizes to the top of the board. You define it once; the engine recalculates the standings on a timer and, when the tournament ends, settles and pays what is owed.

What a tournament is made of

SettingWhat it decides
CriteriaWhat is being measured — the thing players are ranked on.
ScopeWhich games, providers or categories count. Leave it empty and everything counts.
PeriodWhen it opens and closes. Play outside it is not counted.
Prize poolWhat each place wins, and in what form.
CurrencyThe currency the board is scored in.

What you can rank on

Seven criteria, all measured from play and payments the platform already records:

CriteriaRanks players by
wagerTotal staked
betsNumber of bets placed
total_winTotal won
biggest_winLargest single win
deposit_amountTotal deposited
deposit_countNumber of deposits
deposit_maxLargest single deposit

A deposit criteria ranks only players who have actually deposited in the period. This matters more than it sounds: ranking first and filtering afterwards leaves holes in the board, and a leaderboard reading 1, 4, 9 pays the wrong people.

Currency

The board can be scored in the brand's own currency, USD or EUR. Every bet is already recorded in all three, so scores are directly comparable without any conversion.

A fourth currency is refused rather than approximated. If you need one, that is a change to the platform, not a setting.

Prizes

Each place in the prize pool pays one of three kinds:

KindWhat the player gets
cashReal money in their normal wallet. Withdrawable at once.
bonusBonus money, carrying the wagering multiplier set on this tournament.
free_moneyBonus wallet with no wagering — available like cash immediately.

Wagering terms belong to the tournament, not to the platform. Two tournaments can pay bonuses on completely different terms.

Free spins cannot be paid as a tournament prize. The request that creates a prize needs a game and a spin count to hang them on and a tournament carries neither, so a free spins prize fails with a reason rather than silently paying nothing. Cashback is not offered either — on this platform cashback is calculated from losses on a schedule, so it has no meaning as a one-off prize. Use free_money for "like cash, no strings".

Ending and paying

When a tournament's period ends the engine settles it: the board is frozen, each winning place is written down as owed, and the payout sweep credits it. The Settle button in the panel triggers that same routine rather than doing its own thing.

Paying out is permissioned separately from editing a tournament (tournaments.payouts), because settling is money leaving the business.

A player is paid once. The record of what they were owed is created only if it does not already exist, and each credit closes its own row, so a sweep that runs twice does not pay twice.

The offer is fixed when a tournament opens

Editing the prize pool of a tournament that has already opened does not change what the players in it were promised. This is the same rule as bonuses: a campaign and a granted bonus are different objects.

Internal documentation. Every page states what has been verified and what has not.
